He graduated European Studies at the Faculty of Social Studies, Charles University. He has previously worked at the Europeum Institute for European Policy. Václav focuses on the topic of participation. He founded the youth organisation Mladí občané, and he coordinates Czech UN Youth Delegates Programme at the Czech Council of Children and Youth. Another aim of his focus is public management and administration. He works as a coordinator of strategic planning at the Prague 7 District Administration, and he is a representative in the council of the town of Krásno.

Václav also attended the Czech-German Program for Young Professionals (CGYPP) in 2019.
