Tomáš Jungwirth will participate in the seminar on populism which will take place in Warsaw.
In the course of the discussions, the speakers will strive to find answers to the following questions:
- What are the roots and latest developments within the populist and nationalist movements in the EU?
- How are recent developments within populist movements in CEE area associated with the broader situation in the EU? Can any common features be observed?
- Are common European values really in danger? Or is that a temporary state of the art?
- Which role do external influences (non-EU states, Russia, the US, etc.) and tensions play in the spread of populism and far-right nationalism today?
- What specific solutions can civil society actors offer? What kind of support do they need?
