The Final Conference of the XXIst Season Took Place

The Conference began on Friday 1st April in Ambassador Zlatá Husa Hotel at Wenceslas Square and continued during the weekend until Monday 4th April in the Prague Congress Centre at Vyšehrad. Participants had an opportunity to meet interesting guests and to use all skills that they had learnt throughout the year.

The list of guests included, among others, Karel Schwarzenberg, Member of the European Parliament Dita Charanzová, director of the Czech branch of Doctors Without Borders Pavel Gruber, writer Michal Horáček or philosopher Jan Sokol, who all spoke to more than 300 students from all over the Czech Republic and other five countries during the Opening ceremony. The speeches covered wide range of topics which enriched the participants with ideas not only for the project itself, but also for their future life.

See for yourself the whole program of the Opening ceremony of XXI season.

During the negotiation days participants in the models and the bodies tried to advocate interests of the state which they represented. The visit of the Czech National Bank Governor Miroslav Singer made the whole-day negotiations for the delegates in ECOFIN even more special.

The results of negotiations will soon be accessible.

The whole Final conference was the climax of the year-long project, whose annual aim is to educate more than 300 students from high schools and universities about the most pressing issues of the current era.

With the end of the Conference, the XXI season of the Prague Student Summit ended as well. But the new XXII season is already being prepared. Do you want to be a member of the preparatory team and learn, meet new people, develop yourself but also experience a lot of fun? Then apply.
