Nikola Karasová was Associate Fellow of AMO Research Center, her research focuses on Greece and Eastern Partnership.
She holds a degree in political science and Balkan, Eurasian and Central European studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. At present she continues there in her Ph.D. studies in modern history. She specializes in political development of Balkan countries with emphasis on contemporary Greek politics. She took part in study internships at the University of Macedonia (Greece), A. S. Pushkin State Institute (Russia), and Vilnius University (Lithuania).
Formerly she cooperated with Forum 2000 organization and worked in the private sector. Since 2013 she has cooperated with AMO mainly on projects related to the Eastern Partnership initiative.
