AMO – the Association for International Affairs in conjunction with the Polish Embassy in Prague and with kind support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom organized expert round table titled “NATO Summit in Wales and the Czech-Polish Perspectives”. This international expert roundtable consisted of about twenty policy-makers, diplomats and security experts.
Aforementioned expert round table focused foremost on the evaluation of the NATO Wales Summit and priorities of the Czech Republic and Poland concerning this summit. The introductory speeches were carried out by H. E. Grażyna Bernatowicz, Polish Ambassador in the Czech Republic; Jan Jireš, Director at the Department of Defense politics and strategy at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Karl-Heinz Kamp, Academic Director, Federal Academy for Security Policy, Berlin; Wojciech Lorenz, Senior research fellow, Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM).
