Association for International Affairs (AMO) cordially invites you to the Inaugural Address of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs Tomáš Petříček that will take place on Thursday, October 18. The speech will be followed by a moderated discussion.
Tomáš Petříček will be appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs on 16 October 2018. He had been nominated by the Czech Social Democrat Party, where he is an active member.
What are the priorities and foreign policy objectives of the new minister and how will he intend to achieve them? Will there be an elaborated and strategic formulation of foreign policy, which effectively contributes to securing the future of the Czech Republic in the current unstable international environment? How should the Czech Republic contribute to solving global problems while taking into account the needs, interests and concerns of Czech citizens?
